We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position for an individual who is passionate about managing and delivering exceptional HVAC services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting practices. This position requires someone with exceptional customer relations skills and at least four years of experience in a leadership role.
Responsibilities
As the HVAC Service Manager, your responsibilities will include
- Overseeing and managing all HVAC service operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Developing and implementing service procedures, policies, and standards to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating with project managers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure that all HVAC systems are installed and maintained according to specifications.
- Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Training and mentoring HVAC technicians to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and practices.
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Preparing and presenting reports on the department's performance to senior management.
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies to expand our customer base and boost customer engagement.
To be considered for the HVAC Service Manager role, you must possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- A strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting practices.
- Excellent customer relations skills, with a proven track record of resolving customer issues effectively.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HVAC software.
