Job Posting: Business Development Manager / Account Manager (MEP/HVAC/Concrete/Steel)
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to help drive strategic growth across our Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, concrete, and steel construction markets. If you excel at building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting clients across complex commercial and industrial environments, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with people, developing long-term partnerships, and helping clients find solutions that make their projects successful. You will play a key role in strengthening our market presence, expanding our client base, and supporting internal teams through every stage of the project lifecycle.
This is a remote position with regular travel to meet with clients, attend site visits, and participate in key industry events. MUST LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute strategies to pursue new business in MEP, HVAC, concrete, and steel construction sectors
- Build and maintain high-value relationships with owners, contractors, engineers, facility managers, and construction leaders
- Partner with estimating, operations, and project teams to ensure excellent client communication and satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-service offerings
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, association meetings, and on-site project visits
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and maintain accurate CRM documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in business development, account management, or sales within MEP, HVAC, construction, concrete, or steel industries
- Strong understanding of building systems, project workflows, and construction processes
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel regularly (regional or national)
