Job Description
Responsible for development of Automated Logic software for the purpose of controlling HVAC/Lighting and integrating third party devices to the Automated Logic building automation system per the engineer’s sequence of operation using CSC established standard.
Duties
- Communicating regular progress reports for project managers, project directors and clients
- Initial project review
- Review sequence of operations
- Generate databases using ALC Sitebuilder
- Generate software programs using ALC Logicbuilder
- Modifications to existing systems as needed
- Program simulation, troubleshoot as needed
- Improving system efficiencies
- Integration of multiple systems
- Knowledge of industry standard integration (Modbus, Lonworks, BACnet, etc.)
- Coordinate with project directors and project engineers
- Custom report generation
- Implement change orders
- Manage multiple projects with competing priorities
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A creative approach for generating new ideas
- A sound knowledge of MS Office software
- An excellent grasp of engineering and software principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Good team working skills
- A comprehensive understanding of ALC products and software preferred
- 3-5 years of industry related field experience with HVAC systems preferred
