Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Vice President of Sales to lead and oversee the sales strategy and operations at Vertex. This is a remote based in Dallas, TX. The VP of Sales will be responsible for defining and driving the sales strategy, managing key client accounts, building relationships with new clients, and overseeing the sales team to achieve growth targets. Additional responsibilities include developing and executing business development initiatives, making cold calls, analyzing market trends, providing quotes, and closing enterprise-sized deals.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Sales, Sales Management, and Sales Operations
- Experience in the HVAC or electrical industry is highly preferred
- Strong background in commercial HVAC and some knowledge of electrical scoping
- Knowledge of cooling needs for data center
- Experience implementing business development strategies and identifying new market opportunities
- Ability to lead and manage a high-performing sales team
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills for forecasting sales and identifying trends
- Bachelor’s degree highly recommended
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
