Position Overview
The Service Manager leads our Service Department operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and technical excellence. This role requires a strong background in HVAC service, leadership, and hands-on management to keep Har-Con’s service operations running smoothly and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily technician dispatch to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor technicians — ensuring paperwork accuracy, timely submissions, and adherence to company standards.
- Partner with sales staff to prepare bids, develop proposals, and drive service contract renewals.
- Manage existing service agreements and ensure compliance with performance commitments.
- Collaborate with accounting to streamline billing, receivables, and service software processes.
- Train and support technicians on service software tools and digital workflows.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the union hall — ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining positive relations.
- Uphold accountability for technicians and sales staff, reinforcing operational procedures and performance expectations.
- Evaluate and refine current service processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $125,000–$150,000 + Bonus

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC service, operations, or management.
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical service processes.
- Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new platforms and software.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in-office (80%) with flexibility for after-hours or weekend calls.
- No degree required; trade school or relevant certifications a plus.
Salary Description $125,000 - $150,000/yr
