HVAC Estimator/Project Manager
Position Overview
We are a Union mechanical contractor (Local 537) and we are seeking an HVAC Estimator/Project Manager to oversee and manage HVAC projects from start to completion. The ideal candidate will have prior estimating skills, a solid understanding of project management and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and subcontractors. This role is essential in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare HVAC project estimates, including Labor, Materials and time requirements.
Manage the entire HVAC project, ensuring compliance with all specifications and standards.
Coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers for smooth project execution.
Analyze project plans and Specs to provide detailed estimates.
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and progress as needed.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
10+ years in Commercial HVAC estimating
Experience with Project Management software (i.e. Procore)
Experience with estimating software (Fast Pipe) is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word Excel)
