Sky Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical is looking for an experienced and motivated Residential HVAC Service Manager to join our team in the Portland Metro Area. With a longstanding presence in the community, we’re proud to serve homeowners with a focus on quality, integrity, and teamwork.

This leadership position plays a key role in overseeing the performance, growth, and day-to-day operations of our residential HVAC service department. We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and building a supportive environment where technicians can succeed and customers receive top-tier service.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and support the residential HVAC service team with a focus on customer service, employee development, and operational efficiency.
Monitor individual and team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
Oversee ongoing technical training to ensure product knowledge, and workmanship are consistently met or exceeded.
Facilitate weekly team meetings to review performance metrics, reinforce expectations, and promote a positive, safety-conscious culture.
Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth daily operations and prompt service delivery.
Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and workload distribution to meet seasonal demand and maintain customer satisfaction.
Track departmental KPIs and identify areas for continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

5+ years in a supervisory or management role in the trade industry.
Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems.
Proven ability to mentor and lead service technicians while fostering a positive team culture.
Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service software.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass background and drug screening.
