We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator specializing in HVAC systems for commercial projects to join our dynamic team in Houston. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the commercial construction sector, delivering high-quality projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and scope to develop detailed take-offs and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids.
- Analyze historical data and current market trends to support cost forecasting.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Ensure estimates comply with company standards and project requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator, specifically in commercial HVAC projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
