Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product innovation and development to keep the company competitive in the HVAC industry.
- Evaluate new materials and manufacturing methods to improve performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Apply expertise in HVAC ductwork, airflow, and insulation design.
- Use CAD/3D modeling and basic simulation tools to support product design and development.
- Apply practical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
- Design tooling, fixtures, and molds to enable scalable production.
- Integrate lean manufacturing and automation practices to streamline operations.
- Support intellectual property strategy by exploring design alternatives and innovative concepts.
- Document processes for compliance, reproducibility, and quality assurance.
- Conduct performance testing (airflow, leakage, thermal, fire) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to align engineering solutions with market needs and customer growth.
- Drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle based on testing and customer feedback.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of engineering experience in HVAC, building systems, or related industries.
- Hands-on experience in sheet metal design and fabrication (cutting, forming, joining).
- Strong background in mechanical systems such as welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, or conveyors.
- Proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and budgets.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and ability to interpret technical schematics.
