Position Title: National Facilities Maintenance Manager

Industry: Multi-Site Facilities & Operations (Cannabis Manufacturing)

Location: Oregon – Nationwide Oversight

Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000

Benefits: 401(k), fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance; 120 hours vacation annually

Position Summary:

The National Facilities Manager will oversee day-to-day facilities maintenance and infrastructure operations across multiple sites nationwide for our partner’s cannabis company. This role ensures all locations are maintained safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. It requires strong leadership in preventive maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, vendor and contractor management, and compliance across a distributed footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage a centralized preventive maintenance program for facilities and equipment.
Lead facility upgrades, renovations, and capital improvement projects from planning through execution.
Oversee installation and integration of new equipment in collaboration with technical teams.
Manage and optimize the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for scheduling, performance tracking, and reporting.
Coordinate construction and facility projects, including vendor selection and contract oversight.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and building regulations.
Evaluate and manage service providers for repairs, cleaning, and other facility-related services.
Create and manage department budgets, including maintenance costs and capital expenditures.
Promote sustainability and energy efficiency practices in facility operations.
Build a high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Collaborate with leadership and other departments to align facility operations with broader business objectives.
Travel to facilities as needed (up to 50%) to ensure consistent execution and performance.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in multi-site facilities or maintenance management.
Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and facility safety protocols.
Proven track record in managing vendors, contractors, and capital projects.
Experience with CMMS software or other facility management tools.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with floor planning or engineering software is a plus.
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Ability to travel regularly and work in varying site environments.
