e are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator with at least 5 years of experience and familiar with Trimble software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating within the commercial construction industry, with a specific focus on HVAC and Plumbing. This role will assist with any estimates needed from our subsidiary companies, remotely from our home office.

Job Requirements
- Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates for construction projects
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop cost-effective solutions
- Conduct site visits and gather necessary information to accurately estimate project costs.
- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project budgets
- Create and submit timely and competitive bids for construction projects
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Provide support and guidance to project teams regarding cost control measures
Experience:
- At least five (5) yrs. experience preferred in HVAC and/or plumbing
- Proven experience in construction estimating or project management specific to HVAC and Plumbing
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Knowledge of estimating software, strong computer skills including Microsoft 365 applications
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
