Non-Exempt PositionVacancy #: 33-006 .Job Snapshot: Under general supervision, performs skilled or semi-skilled work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of District facilities to provide for the maximum health, safety, comfort and benefit of students and staff.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience
- Valid New Mexico Driver's License
- NM CID Journeyman Refrigeration licensure
- EPA Universal Refrigerant licensure
- Knowledge of Uniform Mechanical Code
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor
- Ability to perform HVAC and refrigeration system installations and all aspects of HVAC service work
- Ability to perform or assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, electrical systems, structural systems, roofing, carpentry, lawn and grounds maintenance, doors and hardware, flooring, siding, foundations, fixtures, and equipment
- Ability to use, repair, and maintain tools and equipment
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively and appropriately with supervisors, students, and staff
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements
