General Manager – Service

We’re looking for a General Manager – Service to lead and grow our service business—driving profitability, team performance, and an exceptional customer experience.
This is a key leadership role responsible for operations, financial performance, and strategic growth across the service department. If you have a strong background in service leadership and know how to build winning teams, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day service operations including maintenance, repairs, and small projects
- Drive service revenue, profitability, and market share growth
- Own P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
- Build, coach, and develop Service Managers, dispatch, and field teams
- Improve productivity, scheduling, and technician utilization
- Strengthen key customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction
- Support service sales, contracts, and account growth
- Ensure consistent safety compliance and quality standards
What You Bring
- 10+ years in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or electrical service
- 5+ years in leadership managing service teams
- Strong P&L and operational management experience
- Proven track record of growing service revenue and performance
- Ability to lead large teams (50+ preferred)
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Nice to have:
- Degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering
- Experience with BAS, energy services, or continuous improvement
- OSHA 30 or similar safety training
