Senior Maintenance Manager
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance, Automation, and Facilities teams. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving plant performance by championing reliability, safety, quality, and operational efficiency. This is a high-impact leadership position where your strategic thinking and hands-on expertise will directly shape the success of our facility and the growth of our people.
Job Description:
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and open communication across the Maintenance department and with outside contractors. Set clear goals, monitor progress, evaluate performance, and ensure your team has the resources and support needed to excel.
Drive Process & Program Excellence Own the development and standardization of all maintenance processes — from Capital startup plans and SOPs to preventive maintenance programs and MRO inventory management. Ensure thorough documentation and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage Budgets Strategically Partner with plant leadership to build operating and capital budgets. Develop and execute both short- and long-term cost containment strategies while maintaining financial accountability across Maintenance and Facilities operations.
Optimize Equipment Reliability Oversee diagnostics, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive/predictive maintenance across manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, and air compressors. Leverage tools such as vibration analysis, air leak detection, and thermal inspection to maximize machine uptime and performance.
Champion Continuous Improvement Lead the implementation of Lean methodologies and TPM programs to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Track and address top downtime contributors, and coordinate cross-functional solutions that prioritize Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
Ensure Compliance & Contractor Oversight Maintain comprehensive records and ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Partner with and manage external contractors, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality work.
Leverage Technology Utilize the plant's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule PMs, manage work orders, assign resources, and maintain optimal spare parts inventory levels.
Qualifications Seeking:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment
Proven leadership skills including planning, organizing, communicating, influencing, and motivating teams to achieve results
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to gather and act on data to drive continuous improvement
A collaborative approach and commitment to aligning team efforts with broader business objectives
