The Director of HVAC Service Operations is the driving force and stabilizing presence behind Rainforest’s HVAC service operations. Reporting directly to the COO, this leader translates company strategy into field execution, leading a department that embodies the Rainforest core values to own the outcome, solve what’s next, and seek the greater good.
This role is for someone who sees everything, owns everything, and moves quickly to make it better. With a deep sense of awareness, accountability, and urgency, the Director builds and leads a team that delivers profitable growth, operational precision, and 5-Star experiences at every customer touchpoint, ensuring no issue goes unseen and no opportunity goes unrealized.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the HVAC Service Department, overseeing all field operations, coaching, and performance management.
- Translate company objectives into clear action plans for technicians, coordinators, and coaches.
- Maintain awareness of all operational activity, shining light on performance, processes, and accountability.
- Manage core departmental KPIs and report on these on a weekly basis.
- Balance time between the office and field to ensure awareness and leadership visibility.
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to company-wide initiatives that strengthen the Operations function.
- Collaborate with peers in Plumbing, Finance, and Sales & Marketing to align efforts and optimize results.
- Make structural decisions for the department, including team composition, leadership development, and role design.

Work Location:
This position reports daily to the Rainforest Plumbing & Air headquarters in North Mesa, AZ, with a variable schedule between office and field based on operational priorities.
