Flow Building Solutions is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator who also wants exposure to project coordination and execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the analytical side of estimating and staying connected to how projects actually come together in the field. You'll work on commercial and industrial HVAC projects, including system replacements, large-tonnage equipment, and energy optimization solutions, with the ability to influence project success from bid through closeout.

What You'll Do
This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects while supporting coordination once projects are awarded. You will review drawings, specifications, and bid documents, perform detailed labor and material takeoffs, and develop competitive, well-defined proposals within bid timelines. You'll work closely with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing, clarify scope, and ensure complete and accurate estimates. After the project award, you'll assist with coordination tasks, including RFIs, submittals, job cost tracking, procurement support, and maintaining organized project documentation. This is primarily an office-based role with occasional site visits for pre-bid meetings, field verification, and project support.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC estimating experience
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, materials, and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and mechanical schedules
- Experience with estimating software such as FastEST, QuoteSoft, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital takeoff tools
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Familiarity with subcontractor buyout and vendor coordination
- Basic understanding of project scheduling and job cost tracking
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
