Our organization is currently seeking a Design Engineer.
Requirements
A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Responsible for ensuring effective, consistent drawings and technical documentation contributes to parts being produced and installed with first time quality
- Responsible for ensuring effective, consistent drawings and technical documentation contributes to parts being produced and installed efficiently to meet cost targets
- Support engineers in ensuring products meet manufacturing standards and requirements to meet On Time Delivery commitments
- Collaboratively work with design engineers and manufacturing engineers to incorporate best practices for drawing standards
- Responsible for creating and maintaining clear installation instructions that contribute to product being installed efficiently with first time quality
- Support in creating & maintaining drawing standards and requirements
- Responsible for converting and maintaining accurate CAD models to be used by other areas of the business
- Other duties as required

Education Required For This Role
- Associate Degree or Trade School Certification in Computer-Aided Design
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and detail drawing creation; formal training in SOLIDWORKS is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
