This opportunity is designed for an experienced business leader, offering full operational and financial ownership of the branch. You’ll be responsible for driving performance, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering a safety-first, accountable culture while delivering on revenue, margin, and service goals.
This is a highly visible role with regular field engagement alongside sales and operations teams. While elevator industry experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with leadership experience in related industries such as construction, HVAC, fire protection, or other technical service environments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Business Ownership & Performance
- Provide full P&L leadership for the branch, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across all business lines
- Oversee daily operations to ensure consistent execution, high-quality service delivery, and achievement of financial targets (EBIT, gross margin)
- Maintain oversight and approval authority for contracts, pricing, purchasing, and operational decisions
Team Leadership & Culture
- Champion and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory standards
- Partner cross-functionally with regional leadership, HR, finance, and safety teams to align business objectives and people strategies
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of department managers and supervisors across operations and sales
Customer, Market & Regulatory Oversight
- Drive customer retention by actively engaging with key and at-risk accounts and strengthening long-term client relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with building owners, property managers, consultants, and key industry stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including elevator codes and labor laws
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience leading a business unit or branch with full P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and improving profitability
- Strong leadership track record in developing teams and building a culture of accountability
- Ability to analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and execute strategic improvements
- Experience in the elevator industry or a related technical service industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred
