HVAC Estimator
Location: Uniontown, PA, Full-Time, In-Office
We are looking for an HVAC Estimator to join our team — and we're open to candidates at all experience levels. What You'll Do
Prepare accurate cost estimates and bids for commercial HVAC projects
Review blueprints, plans, and project specifications to define scope of work
Perform material and labor takeoffs using estimating software
Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and field crews to ensure bid accuracy
Track and maintain organized bid files, logs, and project documentation
Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
What We're Looking For
All Levels:
Entry Level
Understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and terminology
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Strong communication and time management skills
Mid-Level (3–5 years):
Proven track record of independently managing the full estimating process
Experience with estimating software
Familiarity with commercial project bidding
Senior-Level (5+ years):
Deep expertise in complex commercial, industrial, or large-scale HVAC estimating
Ability to mentor junior estimators and lead the estimating department
Strong client-facing and negotiation skills
History of winning competitive bids and managing high-volume pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
Certification or relevant technical training
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Experience with project management software
