Our client is currently seeking a Senior Maintenance & Reliability Manager for their Manufacturing facility located near Sterling IL. This is one of the most recognizable names in their sector and a prominent manufacturing company bolstering low turnover and extremely high employee satisfactions rates. The Sr, Manager will be responsible for equipment uptime, safety, and operational excellence of the facility. This person needs to possess both the technical aptitude for deploying Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Programs and be a leader of leaders. This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment of RCM / TPM Programs. Develop & Implement RCM / TPM practices across all production areas.
- Maximize Equipment Reliability & Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure high uptime and performance.
- Build & Mentor Teams including recruiting, training, and inspiring a skilled maintenance workforce focused on safety and ownership.
- Drive Continuous Improvement & partner with operations and engineering to eliminate chronic losses, boost OEE, and reduce costs.
- Manage Capital Assets & oversee lifecycle management of plant equipment and utilities-from installation to optimization.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance. Embed safety in every process and maintain strict adherence to OSHA and environmental standards.
- Analyze & Track KPI's Lead root cause analysis for systemic issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of Maintenance Leadership in Manufacturing, including 3-5 years in an advanced TPM / RCM Plant
- Proven success improving OEE, reducing downtime, and extending asset lifecycle
- Expertise in preventive / predictive maintenance - Proficient with CMMS
- Strong knowledge of plant utilities (HVAC, compressed air, water systems, power distribution
- CMRP certification preferred
