Role Description
This is a remote, contract-based role for an HVAC Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects. Responsibilities include interpreting project blueprints, assessing material and labor costs, conducting site evaluations (if necessary), and collaborating with project teams. The role requires meeting project deadlines, ensuring budget accuracy, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC systems, piping, and plumbing
- Proficiency in project management and budgeting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in the construction or sheet metal industry is a plus
- Proficiency with estimation software tools is an advantage
