We are looking for a dedicated HVAC Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our service department in Parsippany, New Jersey. This role requires a skilled leader who can effectively manage technician teams, optimize scheduling, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
• Lead and guide HVAC technicians and support staff to achieve departmental goals.
• Supervise scheduling, dispatching, and preventative maintenance activities to ensure efficiency.
• Address escalated customer concerns and foster positive client relationships.
• Analyze budgets, track performance metrics, and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to identify and develop new service opportunities.
• Recruit, onboard, and train technicians while supporting their growth and development.
• Manage inventory, oversee equipment procurement, and maintain vendor partnerships.
• Prepare and deliver detailed performance reports to senior management.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a commercial HVAC service department.
• In-depth technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of operational success.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Understanding of financial management, including budgeting and P&L oversight.
• Preferred certifications in HVAC-related areas.
• Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office applications.
