Commercial HVAC Estimator
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000+ depending on experience
Miami, FL | Office-based with site visits | 8 am – 5 pmGood estimates win projects. We're building out our estimating department and need someone who takes real ownership of the numbers from first blueprint review to final bid submission. This is a role for someone who is thorough, organized, and genuinely enjoys the technical side of commercial HVAC work.
What You'll Do- Review blueprints and mechanical drawings to assess project scope and requirements
- Prepare detailed HVAC estimates including material takeoffs and labor calculations
- Source and price equipment and materials with vendors
- Prepare proposals and bid submissions that are accurate and competitive
- Support project managers and the sales team throughout the bid process
- Track project costs and maintain organized estimating records
What You Bring- 3+ years of HVAC estimating experience, ideally in commercial construction
- Strong ability to read construction blueprints and mechanical plans
- Strong Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with estimating or bidding software is a plus
- Solid understanding of commercial HVAC systems
