Position Summary: The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems supporting assigned facilities.
This role supports a potential contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform HVAC/R preventive maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and controls
- Respond to HVAC-related emergencies and service calls
- Coordinate parts pickup and replacement as needed
- Support seasonal system changeovers
- Document all work in the work order system
Required Qualifications:
- Technical training or equivalent HVAC/R experience
- 5+ years of HVAC/R maintenance experience
- EPA certification (Type II or Universal)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mission-critical or secure facilities
