Territory Sales Manager will focusing in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, and Indiana.
This opportunity is a salaried plus commission that also offers a generous quota obtainment bonus program. The company offers a quality benefits plan, including access to a 401k, health insurance, mileage reimbursement, company phone, etc.. This is a remote / home-office position that requires frequent on-the-road and over overnight travel 2-3 nights per week. This is an individual contributor role with support from Inside Sales.
Day-to-Day Job Duties
As the Central Midwest Territory Sales Manager, you will use your local market and industry knowledge and experience to meet key corporate goals of profitability and growth within your territory. You will be responsible for servicing and growing existing HVAC / Geo-Thermal / Hydronic customers (distributors, contractors, engineers) as well as prospecting and growing new accounts.
- Set and achieve account and territory plans on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale.
- Build strategic relationships with industry allies and work trade shows.
- Maintain customer data and submit monthly expense reports.
- Communicate and ensure delivery of all aspects of the Enertech value proposition to customers.
- Comfortable being a sales HUNTER (65%) and a FARMER (35%). Establishing accurate and honest relationship is extremely important.
- Assist customers with making product selections based on customer needs, project specifications, and applicable codes or regulations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by managing day-to-day needs of the account and facilitating positive, long-term relationships with assigned accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate HVAC industry / related industry and / or product knowledge is a must. Prior sales experience is a plus.
- Strong abilities with building relationships, providing customer service, and managing time.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, negotiating and selling products or services.
- Effective at written and verbal communication. This included phone conversations, written emails, and face-to-face executive presence.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel overnight 2-3 nights per week and occasional weekends for shows and events.
