About the Role Readyman is building a premium residential HVAC service operation in Central Oregon. We are seeking a senior HVAC professional to serve as our Responsible Managing Individual RMI, Lead Technician, and foundational field leader.This is a hands on leadership role. You will be the technical authority in the field, responsible for service calls, diagnostics, repairs, retrofits, and system replacements. You will also help establish service standards, pricing discipline, and quality expectations as the business grows. Compensation and Incentives: Hourly Range: $48 - $52Guaranteed stable income7.5% commission on all self generated system replacements and approved equipment changeouts RMI Responsibility: Compensation for holding the RMI role is included in the base salary On Target Earnings: Expected $125,000 to $145,000 plus based on replacement volume No Commission on Service or Repairs: We pay a professional salary to diagnose ethically, not to upsell parts Core Responsibilities: RMI Oversight Serve as the Responsible Managing Individual for Readyman with the Oregon CCB Field Leadership Perform residential service calls, diagnostics, repairs, retrofits, and system replacements including push pull changeouts Sales and Service Diagnose systems accurately and present clear options to homeownersClose system replacements and approved equipment changeouts when appropriate Standards and Compliance Ensure all work meets Oregon code, manufacturer specifications, and Readyman quality standards Licensing and Certification Requirements Experience: 4 plus years of residential HVAC service and replacement experience required HVAC License: Active Oregon HVAC license required Electrical License: Oregon LE B Limited Energy license highly preferred and required for RMI electrical oversight EPA Certification: EPA 608 Universal required Technology: Comfortable using iPads and modern service software such as Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan Why This Role Is Different Stability No slow season layoffs.
