JOB REQUIREMENTS: HVAC/Electrical tech will be responsible for the
repair and replacement of HVAC PTACS, VTACs and the service of some
larger package units. Tasks may include the following: Test electrical
circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as
safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area. Discuss
heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or
to verify that repairs corrected malfunctions. Adjust system controls to
settings recommended by manufacturer to balance system. Recommend,
develop, or perform preventive or general maintenance procedures, such
as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, or
changing filters. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or
wiring. Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
Record and report time, materials, faults, deficiencies, or other
unusual occurrences on work orders. Mount compressor, condenser, and
other components in specified locations on frames, using hand tools and
acetylene welding equipment. Repair or service heating, ventilating, and
air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by
changing filters, cleaning ducts, and refilling non-toxic refrigerants.
Chula Vista is a multi facetted year round resort and duties are not
limited to HVAC/Electrical. Conducting other routine resort maintenance
duties may be required. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
\*Preferred 3 years\' experience trouble shooting, repairing and/or
replacement HVAC systems. \*Must also possess the knowledge of multi
voltage electrical (120v, 208/230v, 277v, ETC.). \*HVAC Certification
Required, All Types Preferred Up To Universal Physical Requirements

\*Vision:The ability to see clearly at approximately 20 inches or less
(near visual acuity) and at 20 feet or more (far visual acuity)
