Confidential Search – VP of Residential HVAC Sales
Location: Carrollton, Texas (Regional travel across the South Central market)
About the Opportunity
We are exclusively retained by a leading HVAC distribution organization who are looking for a Vice President of Residential Sales. This senior leadership role is based in Carrollton, TX, and will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth across multiple residential market segments, including new construction, multi-family, and strategic accounts.
This role reports directly to the President and is an integral member of the regional executive team, partnering closely to achieve revenue targets, enhance operational performance, and build a high-performing sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the President and leadership team to define and execute aggressive sales strategies and growth plans.
- Build and maintain strong, visible relationships with contractor customers through frequent in-person engagement.
- Establish clear sales metrics and benchmarks to monitor progress and ensure accountability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to deliver exceptional service, market differentiation, and competitive advantage.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share within existing accounts and expand into new industry segments.
- Oversee annual business planning, including monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and expense management.
- Collaborate across departments to leverage the organization’s full capabilities in executing go-to-market strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and human capital strategies; recruit top talent and promote best practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving results while leading a high-performing team.
- Ability to think strategically while managing detailed operational execution.
- Hands-on, action-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility with staff, colleagues, and clients.
