Account Executive – Building Automation Systems (BAS / BMS)
We are looking for a driven and consultative
Account Executive – Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) to help organizations transform how their buildings operate. In this role, you will work directly with commercial and industrial clients to deliver intelligent automation solutions that improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and long-term operational performance.
You will own the full sales lifecycle—building relationships, uncovering client needs, and guiding customers through the adoption of advanced HVAC controls and smart building technologies. This position offers a strong mix of autonomy, technical collaboration, and growth potential in a rapidly expanding market.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage relationships with B2B clients across commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and institutional sectors
- Identify opportunities to implement BAS/BMS solutions integrated with HVAC and mechanical systems
- Conduct discovery meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to understand customer goals
- Create and present proposals, pricing, and RFP responses in partnership with engineering and operations teams
- Manage the sales process from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
- Collaborate with Controls Engineers and Project Managers to ensure accurate, high-quality solutions
- Stay current on smart building trends, energy efficiency initiatives, and emerging technologies
- Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline activity
What You Bring
- 3–7 years of B2B sales experience in Building Automation, HVAC Controls, or Energy Management
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, DDC controls, and BAS/BMS platforms
- Proven success selling technical, solution-based offerings
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, relationship-driven mindset with a collaborative approach
- Ability to travel within an assigned territory
