Primary Responsibilities
- Maintenance Strategy & Execution: Establish and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production machinery, automated equipment, material handling systems, and facility assets.
- Operational Reliability: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to reduce unplanned equipment interruptions and sustain production output.
- Team Supervision: Lead, coach, and develop maintenance and facilities personnel while reinforcing safety standards and best practices.
- Facility Operations: Oversee building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and utilities to ensure operational reliability and regulatory compliance.
- External Partner Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, inspections, system upgrades, and regulated waste handling.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with workplace safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations; maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
- Budget & Asset Control: Develop and manage maintenance budgets; oversee spare parts, tools, and consumable inventories.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply lean maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, and best-practice methodologies to improve equipment performance and asset life.
- Risk & Emergency Planning: Create and maintain response plans for equipment failures, utility disruptions, and facility-related emergencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; experience supporting automated or machinery-intensive operations preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC-based equipment, production machinery, material extraction or filtration systems, and finishing or coating processes.
- Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Demonstrated leadership, troubleshooting, and communication capabilities.
- Proven commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
