We are searching for a VP of Sales and Marketing for our HQ in Medina, Ohio.
The VP of Sales and Marketing will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of all sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth, market share, and customer engagement. This role is responsible for aligning sales and marketing strategies with Wolff Bros. Supply’s mission is to be the premier distributor of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC products in Ohio. As well as maintaining the Wolff Bros Supply go-to market strategy and accountability systems within the sales teams
Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across all branches and markets in line with long-term corporate strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and managing the regional sales teams.
- Establish, drive, and monitor KPIs and sales programs.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners.
- Maintain a system of accountability for sales teams and leadership.
- Analyze market trends to inform sales strategy.
- Lead a team of 3 Regionals and 11 Branch Managers and related sales team.
- Identify new business opportunities and oversee major account development.
- Conducting senior level sales presentations, quote management, and negotiations necessary to close deals successfully.
- Providing direction in the creation and implementation of marketing material and content, in all media forms (ex: print, website, tradeshows, social media, etc.).
- Establish sales quotas and accordingly will track and manage performance against goals and expectations.
- Experience utilizing customer focused events to drive additional engagement and business.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Development
- Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
- Lead a team of 5 Marketing professionals
- Strengthen the Wolff Bros. brand across all customer touchpoints.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with product managers and purchasing teams to align marketing with inventory and promotions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, purchasing, and finance to ensure alignment of sales forecasts, go to market strategy and inventory planning.
- Partner with IT team to develop digital capabilities such as CRM, analytics, and e-commerce tools.
- Partner with HR team to develop and support training, development programs, talent planning, and incentive programs.
- Partner with Ops team to share information, address issues and create seamless processes that improve customer experience
- Partner with Purchasing team to share information, address issues and create seamless processes that improve the customer experience
- Can work in a hybrid environment with digital and in person conferences
- On the road travel to sales regions (all in Ohio) required

Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership, preferably in distribution, wholesale, or B2B environments.
- Experience leading sales teams selling to SMB (Small/Medium Business) enterprises.
- Experience with multi-location sales teams and distribution channels
- Experience with a family-owned business is a plus.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
