We are expanding our capabilities and are seeking a Divisional Manager to lead our Electrical Division — driving growth, operational excellence, and integration within our established mechanical operations.
The Opportunity
As Divisional Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the electrical contracting division — including business development, project delivery, financial performance, and team leadership. This is a senior strategic role suited to a results-driven professional with a strong background in electrical contracting and experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the construction or building services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and grow the Electrical Division, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance targets.
- Oversee tendering, estimating, design coordination, and project execution for electrical contracts.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with mechanical and plumbing divisions to deliver integrated MEP solutions.
- Manage financial performance, budgets, and forecasting for the division.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing technical and project management team.
- Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in electrical contracting, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project financials.
- Demonstrated ability to grow a business unit or division.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of current codes, standards, and industry practices.
