Title: Building Systems Engineer – HVAC & Energy Optimization
Overview
We’re working with a fast-growing climate tech company that’s transforming how buildings use energy. Nearly half of HVAC energy is wasted, and this team has built technology that remotely optimizes systems in real time—cutting usage by 15–30%, lowering costs, and reducing emissions.
As a Building Systems Engineer, you’ll help scale operations by combining engineering expertise with hands-on project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct building assessments and develop energy savings models
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and integration of HVAC/controls projects
- Ensure seamless communication between building systems and optimization software
- Partner with contractors, clients, and internal teams to deliver projects successfully
- Support incentive applications and provide technical expertise to sales and service teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- 5–10 years’ experience in MEP, building automation/controls, or energy services
- Strong HVAC and control systems knowledge; valid driver’s license
