About the Role
We’re representing a dynamic and fast-growing provider of refrigeration control, monitoring, and building management systems, whose cutting-edge HVAC solutions are redefining energy efficiency and operational performance in the Retail Refrigeration sector.
As General Manager – US, you will take full ownership of the Sales and Operations strategy across the United States. You’ll collaborate closely with global leadership to drive profitable growth, improve operational efficiency, and lead a high-performing team to deliver excellence at scale. The business is backed by a top-tier private equity firm, providing strong financial support and an ambitious roadmap for transformation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Lead U.S. strategy aligned with global objectives
- Identify new revenue opportunities and forge lasting partnerships
- Own and manage the U.S. pricing structure to ensure margin integrity and market alignment
Sales & Market Expansion
- Lead, mentor, and scale the U.S. sales team to exceed growth targets
- Drive market share through integrated hardware/software solutions
- Build strategic relationships with key customers in retail, HVAC, and refrigeration sectors
Operational Excellence
- Oversee all U.S. operations, including Sales, Technical Support, Finance, Admin, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Warehousing
- Ensure seamless collaboration with global teams
- Define and track departmental KPIs, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement
Financial & Commercial Performance
- Partner with Finance to manage P&L, budget forecasts, and margin improvements
- Report and analyze performance metrics
- Implement pricing and inventory strategies that support scalable growth
People & Culture
- Inspire and develop cross-functional teams aligned with company values
- Introduce and champion training programs to upskill and retain talent
- Act as a mentor to drive engagement and professional development
Your Background & Skills
Required Experience
- Proven leadership in the HVAC or Refrigeration industry
- Experience scaling operations and growing market share
- Deep understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain processes
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management experience
- Demonstrated success in business development and driving margin growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Track record of leading cross-functional and international teams
- Familiarity with energy-efficient commercial building technologies
