We are seeking a skilled and dedicated
HVAC Specialist to manage contractors and direct activities of company employees to manage and maintain HVAC systems across 9 buildings.
The ideal candidate will have
2-5 years' experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems including humidity control systems and HEPA systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the specification, installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems by managing external vendors and internal employees in conjunction with the Facilities Manager
- Conduct routine inspections to trouble shoot and proactively address potential issues
- Be familiar with the operation, programming and administration of common BMS systems and have the ability to interact with an external BMS supplier
- Have the ability to communicate to users and management any issues and timelines for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all activities related to the systems
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
- Stay up to date on new technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent with certifications in HVAC systems
- Understanding of control systems and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Available for afterhours emergencies
- Candidates with clean driver's license preferred.
This is an on-site position with no remote or hybrid options. Candidates must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high/precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme heat or cold and loud noise levels.
