We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Specialist to manage contractors and direct activities of company employees to manage and maintain HVAC systems across 9 buildings.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years' experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems including humidity control systems and HEPA systems.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the specification, installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems by managing external vendors and internal employees in conjunction with the Facilities Manager
Conduct routine inspections to trouble shoot and proactively address potential issues
Be familiar with the operation, programming and administration of common BMS systems and have the ability to interact with an external BMS supplier
Have the ability to communicate to users and management any issues and timelines for repairs
Maintain accurate records of all activities related to the systems
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
Stay up to date on new technologies and industry standards

Qualifications

High School or equivalent with certifications in HVAC systems
Understanding of control systems and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Available for afterhours emergencies
Candidates with clean driver's license preferred.

This is an on-site position with no remote or hybrid options. Candidates must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high/precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme heat or cold and loud noise levels.
