Rycor is the largest and fastest-growing installer of heat pumps in the United States. As we expand across the Southeast, we are launching our Greenville, SC location and hiring a seasoned Residential HVAC Solutions Consultant to lead sales and help homeowners choose the right high-efficiency heat pump systems.
A day in the life
Morning: You head to your first in-home consultation, greet the homeowner, listen to their comfort goals, and walk the space. Tape measure out, you capture key dimensions and photos, then perform BTU load calculations to inform an effective design layout.
Midday: Back at the kitchen table, you present tailored options, explain trade-offs, and build trust. You price the solution, navigate objections, and close with confidence—then align timelines and expectations.
Afternoon: You sync with our install and service teams to ensure a seamless handoff, update the CRM, forecast your pipeline, and prep for a neighborhood event where you’ll showcase heat pump benefits.
What you’ll do
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and live product demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Meet clients at their homes or businesses for face-to-face consultations.
- Collect measurements and photos, then craft a clear design plan for proper heating and cooling coverage.
- Discover needs, recommend personalized solutions, and guide decision-making.
- Negotiate proposals and finalize agreements to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Partner closely with internal teams to ensure flawless service delivery and delighted customers.
- Track market trends and competitor moves to spot growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts for leadership.
- Represent Rycor at community events, industry gatherings, and trade shows.
What you bring
- Proven success in sales or account management, ideally with in-home, B2C experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that build rapport fast.
- Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
- Goal-driven, self-starter with a record of beating targets.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
