What You’ll Do
EVstudio is seeking a
Lead Mechanical Engineer to anchor our
Boise team. This is a high-impact role for a licensed engineer who’s ready to take ownership of technical excellence, grow a Boise-based team, and collaborate across disciplines within a dynamic and integrated design firm. As the senior-most MEP professional in our Boise office, you’ll be shaping project delivery, guiding junior staff, and collaborating closely with our architecture, civil, and structural teams.
- Lead MEP design and project management for commercial, residential, municipal, multi-family, and mixed-use projects
- Serve as the technical lead on MEP systems designs, including HVAC and plumbing
- Oversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documents
- Mentor and supervise structural EITs and junior engineers
- Coordinate with architects and other in-house disciplines for integrated project delivery
- Contribute to QA/QC processes and the development of internal design standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- PE license required (Idaho or ability to obtain quickly)
- 7+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong design portfolio
- Proficiency in MEP design software, primarily Revit
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Commitment to quality design, team mentorship, and client satisfaction
What We Offer
We are targeting a
base salary of $90,000 to $125,000, but this is determined by several factors, including education, experience, and a history of working in the Boise metro area.
