Apprentice HVAC Tech / Pipefitter

DaVeer is looking for a motivated Apprentice HVAC Technician or Pipefitter to join our growing mechanical team in the Greater St. Louis area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the trade, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a skilled technician or pipefitter capable of leading projects in the future.
As a dual Electrical & Mechanical contractor, DaVeer offers a unique learning environment where you’ll work alongside multiple trades, gain exposure to integrated systems, and contribute to commercial and industrial projects that make an impact.
What You’ll Do (as you learn):
- Assist in reading and interpreting piping schematics, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Help measure, cut, thread, groove, and prep pipes under the guidance of experienced journeymen.
- Assist with installing valves, pipe supports, and related components.
- Learn to pressure-test piping systems for leaks and proper function.
- Support the fabrication and installation of ductwork (spiral & square).
- Assist with installation of equipment such as RTUs, compressors, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Work closely with experienced technicians and other trades on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong interest in HVAC and/or pipefitting as a long-term career.
- 1+ Year(s) of Construction Experience
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform physical tasks in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the St. Louis region.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
- Any prior experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, welding, or pipefitting is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or 30 training is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
