Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager

We’re looking for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer who’s ready to lead complex projects and mentor the next generation of talent. This role blends technical depth with strategic leadership—ideal for someone who thrives in both design and client-facing environments. You’ll oversee HVAC and MEP systems across public and private sectors, including educational, commercial, and institutional projects. From concept through construction, you’ll guide teams, manage budgets, and ensure code compliance while shaping high impact built environments.

What You’ll Bring:

PE license and 15+ years of engineering experience, including 7+ years managing teams
Expertise in HVAC design, load calculations, and energy analysis
Strong command of AutoCAD, Revit, and load software (Trane Trace, Carrier HAP)
Familiarity with NJDOE, NJSDA, DPMC, DMAVA, and public bidding procedures
Proven ability to lead proposals, write reports, and estimate construction costs
Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
Ability to juggle multiple projects while mentoring junior staff

What You’ll Do:

Lead engineering teams and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Conduct site surveys and document existing conditions
Oversee construction documents and coordinate across disciplines
Attend key meetings throughout the project lifecycle—from pre-design to close-out
Guide construction administration and ensure design intent is upheld
Develop junior engineers and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
