Commercial Sales Representative for HVAC/R Services
Base Salary + Commission | $120,000 + Potential Earnings Location: Elmhurst, IL
Progressive Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Representative to help grow our HVAC/R service business throughout Chicagoland. We work with commercial customers including property managers, manufacturers, fitness facilities, country clubs, and other businesses that rely on dependable HVAC/R solutions.
This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships with commercial clients.

Responsibilities
- Develop new commercial customer relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outreach
- Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, and business owners
- Identify opportunities for service agreements, preventative maintenance contracts, repairs, and projects
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and facility walkthroughs
- Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that provide long-term value
- Prepare proposals and follow opportunities through the sales process
- Partner with operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline information
Qualifications
- 2+ years of successful B2B sales or business development experience
- Commercial sales experience required
- Experience selling HVAC/R, construction, facility services, or other technical solutions strongly preferred
- Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close new business
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable meeting customers onsite and managing a local sales territory
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
