Job Description
The Sheet Metal Apprentice is an introductory, training level for the sheet metal duct trade. Advancement is a possibility for candidates with little or no experience. Driver license preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Seal joints; Install duct hangers. Adhere to company policies. Assemble TDF and slip/drive joints. Assemble Snaplock and Pittsburg seams. Cut round holes in duct and install spin-ins. Identify different duct materials and components.
Starting at $15.00 hourly
Requirements
- Be able to read a tape measure
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to follow verbal and/or written instruction
- Be able to utilize material and personnel lifts safely
- Know proper lengths to cut slip and drive components
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Comply with company attendance policy

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 40 hours per week with potential for overtime.
