Position Overview
We are seeking a driven sales professional to grow our footprint within the commercial HVAC space. This position is centered on building new relationships, understanding client challenges, and delivering customized solutions that meet both operational demands and budget goals.
Core Responsibilities
Generate New Business Opportunities
Proactively identify and pursue prospects through outreach efforts such as cold calling, referrals, networking, and targeted prospecting strategies. Maintain an organized and active sales pipeline.
Evaluate Client Needs & Provide Recommendations
Conduct site visits to assess equipment, building requirements, and customer goals. Offer solutions that align with technical needs while supporting overall business objectives.
Develop & Present Solutions
Prepare comprehensive proposals detailing scope, pricing, and project timelines. Professionally present recommendations, address client questions, and clearly communicate value.
Partner with Internal Teams
Work closely with project managers, estimators, and field teams to ensure projects are scoped accurately and delivered successfully.
Cultivate Client Relationships
Act as a key point of contact for clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships that lead to repeat work and referrals.
Meet and Exceed Sales Goals
Consistently achieve performance targets through effective planning, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach.
Maintain Industry Awareness
Stay up to date on HVAC technologies, evolving market trends, and competitor activity to remain knowledgeable and competitive.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC or technical sales
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and services
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a drive to succeed
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
