East Coast Territory: United States, Ideally Phillidepha, PA or Atlantic City, NJ
The individual will join our Sales Team, reporting to our North American Director of Sales. The ideal candidate is responsible for generating new business and managing the existing business in assigned territories of the United States. The Regional Sales Manager will utilize analytics and personal relationships to manage our existing sales channels including our independent manufacturer’s representative sales force and wholesale distribution.
Job Duties
- Develops and maintains lasting industry relationships with independent sales representatives, specifiers, wholesale distributors, and prospects
- Develop and execute an annual business plan for territories including opportunity mapping, sales goals, and forecasts
- Mentor and coach independent manufacturer’s representatives
- Create and promote suitable promotion plans including training seminars, regional trade shows, and wholesale & engineering visits.
- Manage company sales KPIs as a tool to reach annual business plan goals
- Drive product adoption through product training, specification generation, quoting, and building code changes
- Report market trends including pricing, competitor or technological changes
- Comply with pricing guidelines or make recommendations for special pricing for the sales manager’s approval
- Significant travel (up to 75%) is required
Requirements
Experience and Requirements:
- Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or engineering preferred
- Equivalent work experience considered
- Min. 5 years of plumbing / HVAC industry-related experience
- Reside within 60 min drive of an airport
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Ability to operate in both a small business and corporate environment, including meeting corporate reporting deadlines.
- A valid passport & ability to travel
- CRM experience preferred
