Position Overview
We’re looking for a driven sales professional to expand our commercial HVAC customer base. This role focuses on developing new business, understanding client needs, and delivering customized HVAC solutions that improve performance, efficiency, and long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Business Development
Actively generate new opportunities through outreach efforts, networking, referrals, and relationship-building. Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently follow up to move opportunities forward.
Evaluate Client Needs
Perform on-site assessments to understand facility requirements, current system performance, and budget considerations. Recommend solutions that align with both operational goals and technical requirements.
Develop & Present Solutions
Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and agreements outlining scope, cost, and timelines. Present recommendations clearly, addressing client questions and emphasizing overall value.
Coordinate Internally
Work closely with project managers, estimators, and field teams to ensure accurate planning and successful project delivery.
Build Long-Term Relationships
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary contact for clients throughout the sales lifecycle. Cultivate relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
Meet Sales Objectives
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and effective communication.
Stay Current in the Industry
Keep up with new HVAC technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings to remain knowledgeable and competitive.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC sales or a similar technical sales role
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and service offerings
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for client meetings
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
