Position Overview
JM Mechanical is hiring an
HVAC Controls Apprentice to assist with the installation and startup of low-voltage control systems on commercial projects.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with
low-voltage wiring experience who want to build a career in
HVAC controls and building automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Install conduit, raceways, and low-voltage cabling
- Mount and wire control devices (sensors, relays, etc.)
- Assist with system startup, testing, and verification
- Follow project plans, schedules, and safety standards
- Complete daily reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Experience with low-voltage wiring in construction is required
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow
