The HVAC Sales & Department Manager is responsible for driving HVAC
sales revenue while overseeing the daily performance of the HVAC team.
This role focuses on identifying customer needs, recommending
appropriate HVAC solutions, preparing estimates, & closing sales to
maintain a consistent pipeline of profitable work for the department.
The HVAC Sales & Department Manager also provides leadership & oversight
to the HVAC team, ensuring high-quality workmanship, excellent customer
service, & efficient coordination of projects. This position works
closely with the administrative team to ensure smooth scheduling,
communication, & customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Sales &
Revenue Generation Meet with customers to evaluate HVAC needs &
recommend appropriate equipment, upgrades, or services. Prepare &
present estimates for HVAC system replacements, upgrades, & related
services. Follow up on proposals & customer inquiries to convert
opportunities into closed sales. Promote maintenance & service
agreements to support long-term customer relationships. Develop sales
opportunities through existing customers, technician referrals, &
service calls. Maintain a consistent pipeline of upcoming work to
support technician productivity & department revenue goals. HVAC Team
Leadership Provide leadership & guidance to the HVAC team, including
technicians & department administrative support. Support technicians
with technical questions & job-related challenges when needed. Review
completed work to ensure quality standards, safety requirements, &
company expectations are met. Address customer concerns & resolve
service issues in a professional & timely manner. Foster a
collaborative, productive work environment that supports team
performance & accountability. Department Oversight Monitor department
workflow to ensure technicians have consistent & productive work
schedules. Collaborate with administrative staff to coordinate
scheduling & project timelines. Review job performance, productivity, &
department results to support profitability goals. Identify
opportunities to improve processes, service quality, & overall
department performance. Maintain relationships with vendors & suppliers
as needed regarding equipment, product support, & warranty issues.

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in HVAC sales, estimating, service
leadership, or a related field. Strong understanding of residential HVAC
systems & solutions. Proven ability to communicate effectively with
customers & team members. Leadership skills with the ability to support
& motivate a small team. Strong organizational & problem-solving
abilities. Proficiency with common office software such as Microsoft
Word, Excel, & Outlook. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry,
push, & pull 80 pounds. Able to perform various tasks that may include
standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, crawling, etc.
