Redi Carpet, the leading provider of flooring solutions for the multifamily housing industry, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to lead our Greensboro, NC branch. This leader will oversee all aspects of branch operations, customer service, financial performance, and team development.
Candidates with backgrounds in big box retail, distribution, HVAC/home services, or other high‑volume service environments, especially those serving the multifamily sector, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team across sales, operations, administration, and warehouse functions.
- Build a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service to multifamily customers.
- Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing team training.
Multifamily Customer Engagement
- Serve as a key point of contact for multifamily property managers, maintenance supervisors, and regional operators.
- Strengthen relationships with apartment communities and multifamily management companies.
- Ensure a seamless and responsive customer experience tailored to the unique needs of the multifamily industry.
Operational Management
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations including warehouse workflow, scheduling, installation coordination, and logistics.
- Ensure high standards of speed, accuracy, and quality—critical for the fast‑turnaround multifamily environment.
- Maintain compliance with all company safety, operational, and quality standards.
Financial & Business Management
- Manage the branch P&L: budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and profitability.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to drive growth within the multifamily market.
- Identify opportunities to expand market share through operational excellence and customer engagement.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute market-specific strategies to grow Redi Carpet’s presence with multifamily clients in the Greensboro area.
- Evaluate processes and implement improvements to streamline operations and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with regional leadership on long-term organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in big box, distribution, HVAC/home services, or similar fast‑paced operational environments.
- Experience supporting or servicing the multifamily housing industry is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success managing teams, operations, and budgets.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, service‑driven business.
- Flooring experience is beneficial but not required.
