The Role:
As a Estimator in Plumbing & HVAC, you'll be integral to our project bidding process. You're not just crunching numbers; you're laying the groundwork for project success!
What You'll Do:
- Interpret project plans and specifications to develop clear and accurate cost estimates for plumbing and HVAC installations.
- Compile and analyze data from various sources, ensuring precision and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to refine estimates and improve workflows.
- Assist in preparing bids and competitive proposals, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Gain hands-on experience in project take-offs, materials lists, and labor requirements.
- Develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, leveraging their expertise to obtain competitive pricing.
- Stay informed about industry trends, techniques, and materials to continuously enhance estimating accuracy.

Requirements:
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of construction, plumbing, or HVAC estimating is required.
- Previous experience with estimating software (Estimation, Quickpen, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems and industry standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with estimating software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and be open to feedback.
- A willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
