We’re looking for a hands-on Commercial Sales Engineering Manager to lead a regional applied products team for a well-established Engineering Firm. This role is ideal for a technically strong HVAC professional who enjoys leading people, tightening processes, and supporting sales with real engineering horsepower. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team across engineering, inside sales, and technical service
- Run regular project and pipeline reviews with sales and engineering
- Own and improve core processes: submittals, quotes, warranties, project tracking, and issue resolution
- Identify and fix underperforming projects (design, installation, or application issues)
- Oversee technical training and certifications
- Serve as the go-to technical resource for internal teams and external partners
- Drive continuous improvement across execution, customer support, and internal systems
- Partner closely with sales leadership to support growth
- Travel about once per month for site visits, trade shows, and manufacturer meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of HVAC or mechanical systems experience
- Strong background as an application engineer (people leadership experience is a plus, not required)
- Calm, solutions-focused leader who can handle pressure without chaos
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and hold teams accountable
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
